Leave Policy Details
Family Care Leave · 2 days/year
Leave to care for direct family members (parents, spouse, and children). Covers: illnesses or medical-related matters; children's education matters such as orientation days and school meetings.
Compassionate Leave · 3 days per bereavement
Leave to attend the funerals of direct family members (parents, spouse, and children). Employees are entitled to 3 days per bereavement and may use this benefit more than once a year.
Business Leave · 6 days/year
Paid leave for unavoidable personal business that cannot be delegated, including: obtaining official documents (ID card, driver's license, visa); appearing as a witness in legal proceedings; receiving vaccinations (e.g. COVID-19); attending your own graduation ceremony; leave due to an accident while travelling to work.
Advance Notice Requirement
All planned leaves (Annual Leave, Birthday Leave, Business Leave) must be submitted at least 1 week in advance. Emergency leaves (Medical Leave, Family Care Leave, Compassionate Leave) may be applied on short notice.
